What we record

When you use AI business Q&A or keyword search, we record:

• the question or search text you enter;
• the answer the AI gave you;
• your IP address;
• the language, the category selected and the number of results;
• whether a location was set and the approximate city derived from it (for example Flushing, NY). We do not store precise coordinates.

Retention: 90 days

Questions, search text and IP addresses are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically. We keep them to improve search and AI results (for example, to see what people look for and cannot find) and to prevent abuse.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information (ID numbers, bank details, medical records and the like) in questions or searches.

Location

By default we estimate your approximate location from your IP address to sort businesses by distance.

We use your device’s precise location only if you tap “Get my location” and allow it in your browser, and only to sort by distance; it is not stored as exact coordinates. You can also type an address, ZIP code or city instead, revoke the permission in your browser settings at any time, or reset the location on the page.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google’s analytics tools to understand page views, category clicks and other aggregate data so we can improve the site. Google may set cookies and infer an approximate region from your IP.

We use Google’s anti-abuse service on AI questions, voice input and merchant registration to prevent automated attacks. It sends device and interaction information to Google, which is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

You can refuse or clear cookies in your browser settings; some features may be affected.

Third-party services

To produce AI answers, your question and the matching business records are sent to our third-party AI service providers for processing. When you use voice input, the recording may be sent to a speech-recognition service to be transcribed; we do not keep the recording.

“Read answer aloud” uses your device’s built-in speech synthesis and sends nothing to us or to third parties.

We do not sell your personal information.

Merchant accounts

If you register or claim a business in the merchant account center, we store the business and account information you provide in order to display the listing and manage the account.

Your choices

You can contact us at any time to ask to see or delete records about you (tell us roughly when you used the site so we can find them). We may adjust retention periods where the law requires. When this policy changes, we will update the date on this page.
